Support Alexander & Co in the Manchester 10K
On Sunday 19th May 2019, 15 of our amazing staff here at Alexander & Co will be joining thousands of other runners to run the Great Manchester Run 10k.
At Alexander, we are very proud of our Manchester roots and all the work we do with businesses here in Greater Manchester and the North-West. That’s is why we have chosen to support a local charity, The Lowry Centre Trust, by aiming to raise £5,000 for their amazing work in the city.

The Lowry Centre Trust
The Lowry Centre Trust is a charity set up to help with the promotion of arts education. The charity runs a number of different programmes to help get people more involved in the arts, particularly at-risk youths and young people that may not have access to creative outlets.
The programmes we will be supporting with our 10k run are:
Young People Experiencing Homelessness Project – This project will provide a safe space for young homeless people to interact, be creative, cook and share meals and also grab a bag of essential items such as toothbrushes, hats, gloves and many others.
Looked After Children Project #GetInvolved – The Lowry runs a free weekly drama drop-in session for children that are residing in care homes and foster homes in Manchester. This project gives these young people a creative outlet, to better help them express and handle their emotions and feelings. It helps them to be heard and start to build essential skills such as confidence and public speaking.
