Companies House E-Filing

E-filing of accounts and computations with HMRC has been compulsory in recent years and attracted a lot of attention prior to, and during its introduction. Fewer people were aware they were able to use the same iXBRL tagged accounts to submit to Companies House. Companies House has released statistics which show almost half of all accounts were submitted in this way in the last 12 months.

A major benefit of E-filing is that accounts can be filed on the last possible day without worrying about postal delays. We will soon be introducing a web portal to allow clients to approve their accounts via our website.
