Alexander & Co: Accredited Growth Vouchers Provider

Alexander & Co. are an accredited provider of the government’s Growth Vouchers scheme, which aims to help UK small businesses get the advice and support they need to succeed.

As part of a £30m initiative, launched in January, the Department for Business Innovation and Skills is giving startups and SMEs up to £2000 in matched funding to find out the impact of advice on business growth. For example, businesses that receive a Growth Voucher can use it to pay for accountancy advice from us, then claim back the money spent from the government.

To qualify businesses must have been running for at least a year, employ less than 50 people, be no more than 25% owned by other businesses and organisations, and have not paid for business advice in the last 3 years. Small firms can get help with a range of business-related disciplines, including finance and cash flow, staff development, marketing and utilising digital technology.
