Stephen Verber

After qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1980 with Binder Hamlyn, Stephen joined Alexander & Co in 1984 and has been a partner for over 30 years. Stephen is a ‘hands on’ partner to SME clients and can often be found attending client board meetings, or running ‘client away days’.

Stephen specialises in corporate finance and accounting solutions for businesses at all stages of growth and development. He has a wealth of experience in this area, including providing accounting advice for disposals & acquisitions, mergers  and MBO’s.

Forensic Accounting

Heading up the forensic accounting department, Stephen has been instructed in more than 180 cases as an expert witness. Stephen is a trained expert witness, who has produced  independent expert reports and acted as a single joint expert in a range of cases, including fraud and other crime, matrimonial and contractual disputes.
